DESIGN PROCESS
The pieces were developed in close collaboration with Bella Hadid. We prepared moodboards and sketches, which we presented during video calls. The concept was to use second-hand denim that we sourced and transform it into new designs – drawing inspiration from the 70s and reflecting Bella’s personal style.
MATERIAL AND PRODUCTIOn
Our aim was to upcycle significant amounts of material. We sourced vintage jeans, sorted them by color, and carefully deconstructed them before sewing the new pieces in Portugal. This process not only ensured consistent quality and design but also gave every item a unique character rooted in its origin.
