"The Grand Rebirth" Show
Our first fashion presentation during Berlin Fashion week.
Inspired by a recent collaboration with a hotel chain we were able to develop a deep understanding of the huge amounts of textile waste that are constantly being generated in almost all industries around us.
We wanted to highlighting that textile materials can be found everywhere beyond the fashion industry and that there exists a resource-friendly way to enjoy fashion if we change our understanding of waste.
We invited our guest to spend an evening with us at the “Grand Rebirth”, and immersive fashion experience. The guest were guided through a journey of sets featuring model performances. Each set referenced a different collection textile and its origin.

DESIGN PROCESS
We created The Grand Rebirth as an immersive fashion experience, guiding guests through model performances and set designs – each inspired by different textile origins and their hidden stories. The bedroom set staged models in wedding dresses made from bedsheets, while the restaurant featured looks crafted from discarded tablecloths. Every piece was designed and produced in our Berlin studio.
MATERIAL AND PRODUCTIOn
We sourced discarded textiles locally in Berlin – from bedsheets at Soho House to tablecloths from the legendary restaurant Borchardt. This gave us deeper insight into the vast textile waste generated within the hospitality industry. By transforming materials such as bedsheets and towels, we demonstrated how waste can be turned into new, resource-conscious fashion.
